Resa Saffa Park is the musical persona of Norwegian singer, songwriter, and composer Theresa Frostad Eggesbø. Drawing inspiration from jazz, soul, and indie, Resa’s sound is a cinematic fusion of modern and vintage elements, melancholic, classy and quirky. Born in Dubai and now based in Oslo, she studied at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and has been active as a musician since 2017. Her music reflects a wide range of influences, from the emotional rawness of Nirvana to the timeless tones of Billie Holiday and Chet Baker.
In February this year, Resa released her debut album Silver Bead Eyes, produced by Bård Berg, after three EPs released since 2020. The debut album received high praise from major Norwegian media outlets, including Aftenposten, NRK, and GAFFA, and Subjekt, as well as Istanbul based media outlets and a huge fan base in Türkiye. With heartfelt lyrics, soulful vocals, and rich melodies, Resa Saffa Park offers listeners an intimate yet cinematic musical experience. Backed by her band, she is now touring internationally, bringing her music to cities like Stockholm, Milan, Oslo, Copenhagen, Ankara, Istanbul, and Paris.
