After riding a tidal wave of success on his breakout album Willy Mason has kept himself on the circuit just enough to continue to hone his writing and performing while keeping one foot planted in the land of the living. Fully electric these days with a tight road tuned trio, Willy’s performances maintain the openness and warm intimacy of his early shows while accessing new dynamics of movement and power.

2020’s full length release Already Dead was a collaboration with producer Noel Heroux of Hooray for Earth which brought darker and higher energy sounds to Willy’s trademark easygoing fingerstyle poetic folk. Willy is working on a self-produced follow up scheduled for release in 2025.
